how I'm building health

I took a day off last Saturday to hike up to Tarak Ridge in Mariveles, Bataan.

I haven't been able to do a long hike since the pandemic started- and I was a bit nervous if I would be in good enough shape to climb up the mountain.

That nervousness made me think about FitforLife and the whole motivation behind it.

When I think health, I don't think about gyms and workout machines. I think about being outdoors, hiking on trails, or swimming in the ocean.

Can I plan ahead and work on my health so that I can still be outdoors when I'm in my 60s? What about in my 70s and 80s?

I want to be able to experience a mountain sunrise every year of my life as I continue to get older.

Originally, I wanted to open access up to the public on July 1

It was an arbitrary goal that I had set for myself. And there's no real consequence if I don't get it out right away.

But I can feel myself getting stuck in overthinking and perfectionism- nitpicking over little details.

That's why I'm grateful for you for following along. You help me be accountable. Thanks for being here!
